Elkora is an original character crafted for The Witcher verse.Elkora is an intelligent young woman, born to a human Professor at the Academy- specialising in the Conjunction of the Spheres, and an elven mother. Both of her parents have now passed, leaving her alone in the world.Elkora's mother, Vashe, died after a house fire when Elkora was very young. An anti-Aen Seidhe mob (whom had also perished to the flames) had been assumed to have burned their house down to the ground after finding out a prestigious professor had wedded and sired a babe with an 'elven harlot'. Elkora survived, having been carried out of the flames by her mother, but it was too late for Vashe. She had inhaled far too much of the smoke, and died as her babe wept over her body.It was only years later, just before Elkora's 18th birthday and after several incidents where she had set things alight, where her Father sat her down and told her she had a gift; she was a Source. Magic flowed through her veins and it was not the mob that set their house alight that night, but Elkora instead... in an attempt to protect herself and her mother.On her eighteenth birthday, Elkora left home. She 'borrowed' a hefty sum of her Father's wealth and made for the road. She had heard of a magical academy, Aretuza to be precise, where sources could be taught to harness and control their power.She made it half-way to the Temerian school before news of its destruction at the hands of King Radovid V passed throughout the entire Continent. Frustrated by this, Elkora turned tail and returned to the home she thought awaited her. Upon her return, she found her house, empty, and many letters of commiseration slid beneath the door. Her Father, the esteemed Professor Pytz, had been fallen to the Catriona and his body, burned in mass, to prevent its spread.Everything he had, Professor Pytz had left to his beloved daughter, who established a base for herself in Oxenfurt before she took off to seek out a mentor to help her harness her power.

✦ During its vacancy, the Pytz estate became home to a Godling, named Sofia, who became very dear to Elkora upon her return home. She allowed Sofia to stay, and frequently brings her gifts and dresses, whilst Sofia provides the company Elkora so desperately needed.✦ With her father having passed, there is no longer a soul alive who has been told that Elkora is a source. The only others who would know, are those who are sources themselves and can sense her magic.✦ Elkora's eartips are slightly pointed, making it rather evident that she has Aen Seidhe blood flowing through her veins.✦
